Tell us about your volunteering

Win a great prize! 

We have tried all sorts of ways of increasing our volunteer numbers over the past years, some definitely more successful than others! But one thing we have found that works better than anything else is positive word of mouth recommendation. More and more people considering volunteering are surfing the internet for information. In response we would like to develop and improve our website and create a bank of volunteer testimonials to encourage and inspire people to give their time to volunteering activities.

We are offering a prize – a voucher for a meal for two at the popular ‘Strada’ restaurant in Sevenoaks -  for the best ‘caption’ that describes your volunteering experience; why you chose to volunteer, what you get out of it, why you would recommend it. Ideally we would like around 25 to 30 words but if you feel like writing an essay…we won’t hold it against you. 

If you feel technologically brave and you have a rather lovely photograph of yourself and you are willing for it to be shown on the website then please feel free to send that in as well. Please state that you give permission for this when you attach the photo to your entry submission.

If you would prefer us NOT to attribute your testimonial to your name – we would only use your first name - please make this clear when you send in your submission.
