Local Charities need your help!

Volunteering is a great way of  getting involved with your community and making new friends.

Four charities at the heart of Edenbridge are in urgent need of more volunteers;

• Calling all friendly people!  The very popular 'healthy eating' coffee morning for families run by the FAMILY WELFARE ASSOCIATION at the Edenbridge Centre on a Wednesday morning urgently needs new volunteers to join the rota.  You will not need to do every week but a couple a month would be wonderful.  
  
• Are you fit and enjoy team work? The SCHOOL needs a great team to replace the pond lining.  It would be a great team building experience and you will be doing a great service to the local community. 
  
• BRIDGES, a charity in the centre of Edenbridge, needs a volunteer to do some light maintenance jobs.  It would be as and when you had time and when things needed doing. You would be supporting this wonderful meeting place at the heart of Edenbridge.
  
• Edenbridge MENCAP need new volunteers for their Wed and Fri evening clubs and new trustees due to a number of longserving members retiring.
